Hi,

I have a burn in on my note 8 screen. How can I get a new phone. I just got my note 8 not too long ago. This is ridiculous. I am attaching a picture of the burn in. Is this the new note scandal ? You can look between the weather widget and the apps8ef7e435-771f-488c-9dc4-a2a845d50798.jpg

A burn in does not show up in screenshots

You think it does because you look at your screenshot on the same burnt display. Try on another screen, you'll see.

A burn-in is physical issue, like cracked screen. Not a software issue. So the GPU draws the proper images. And a screenshot is just a copy of one image drawn by the GPU. Thus, it does not show up in screenshots.

ya, not seeing anything on the attached screenshot, none the less take it to a Samsung repair center to get it looked at right away

I would take it into your nearest Samsung Support center or to your service provider. The screen burn in should be covered as there are a few security measures that are supposed to be in place in order to prevent this. It's not a scandal...just a defect.

the only way to show alleged "burn in" is if you take a high res macro photo with another camera, Then attach. the pic you attached shows zero burn in.
