My Mote9 says its connected to 4g but it's connected to 3g. Can some tell me why that is?

That's because of the CSC. Carriers think HSDPA+ is 4G, like how AT&T thinks LTE-A is 5Ge.

No way to "fix". That's just how it is in the firmware.
