hey guys im new to the Note 8, im just wondering when taking out the spen you have to use your nail to take it out im using the original samsung note 8 case with the kickstand rugged case im just wondering will the paint on the spen will peel off in time?

Been using S Pen everyday since last year September. And I use nail to push the S Pen out too. My S Pen like new one still. No paint peel off so far.

Fwiw - The Spen on my now ancient Note 2 looks as good as it did when I got it... However many years ago that was - Same with all of my subsequent Note devices 🐧

this is a Samsung S Pen, I can assure you the paint will not chip off......now if Apple mad a pen for their phones, the paint would probably start to peel within the first 24 hrs and then charge you $99 for a replacement 😛

The S Pen has paint? I thought it was more laser etched and chrome electroplated and colored plastic. I don't think it has any paint on it whatsoever.
