Facing green screen in Samsung s22 ultra

Hi, I bought my Samsung s22 ultra on the same day it was available for pre-booking. I liked the phone and everything BUT now I am facing a weird issue while I am switching to apps, I am seeing a green screen for a mini second on half of the display.

Looks like the video is stuck on "processing"? 

Check the Brightness level of your display, if it's very low, it's possible to see a green tint, although it'd generally be the whole screen, not just half. 

So without seeing the video, you're only seeing the green screen on half the display (top or bottom?) and it's ONLY when switching between apps?

You can try a "Forced Reboot" by pressing & HOLDING the power button until the phone vibrates & then let go of the power button.

You could also try Booting into Safe Mode & see if you have the same thing happen?

It's likely to be either a software issue, or & hopefully not, a hardware issue.

I'd backup your device with Smart Switch regardless..

If you still get the green screen in Safe Mode, you can try Booting into Recovery and wipe cache, but I don't think that will fix the issue..

Last thing that you can do yourself is a Factory Reset. If it's a software issue, then a Factory Reset should fix the problem, but if it's a hardware problem, then you would need to visit a Samsung Service center to have your phone examined by a tech.

Okay the video is now visible. Try what I suggested in my previous post, but it looks like it could be a hardware issue rather than software.

Try what I suggested would help reach a more definitive conclusion.

Hi, It seems problem comes from Whatsapp.

Samsung reported related issue description to Whatsapp side.

Please keep working latest version of Whatsapp until fix version is released.

Agree on what? how many days since you had the phone? if it is within 14 days you can return.. tell them you dont like it. simple. if over 14 days then describe the issue and its in warranty so ask them for replacement. but you have to call them, not over chat. Only give details if asked and needed.
