I recently got a brand new Galaxy S24 Ultra, and I have been doing everything I can to prevent screen burn. I don't use my phone at anything over half brightness, and I do my best to not display static images for a prolonged period of time. The same thing has happened to my previous Galaxy S21+, and I'm not too happy with this problem consistently appearing on my Galaxy devices. This was also a huge problem on my Galaxy S9, before the S21+. What do I do now?

Faint screen burn along the top of the device, where status bar is.

Weird, the only Samsung device that I ever had any burn-in, was my ancient Skyrocket.. and it wasn't that bad.

Wonder if the pixel shift issue has been fixed?

With One UI 6.1, I believe the pixel shift issue was patched.

Even stranger to see burn-in on your S24 then!

Yeah, it really is. It's very disappointing to have the new phone that I expected to be less prone to screen burn get exactly what I feared, screen burn.

Note 7, 8, 10+ and s22ultra, fold4 and now s24ultra. I never had any problem like this, not even now. I keep AOD on all time.

Maybe I'm the odd one out here or something. I've owned my phone for not even 4 days, and I already have screen burn. I might put in a warranty claim because this is absolutely unacceptable for a brand new device that isn't even a week old!

You may use some app or charging cable/adapter that affects it. I never see anyone with this issue or hear from someone until today.

The only apps I've used so far are snapchat and Google.. now this app. My screen must be defective or something because, again, this shouldn't be an issue 4 days out of the box.
