Galaxy SI agree with @jamesy,it is most likely the YouTube app.
I can listen to Spotify for hours, and it barely uses any battery.

Galaxy SHave this issue on S24+ with YouTube version 19.13.36. When issue is present the phone gets hot and battery drains in about 4 hours, even when every app including YouTube is closed down. It seems to trigger when I have downloaded a video and played it. From that point forward, battery drain. Issue clears if you erase application data, but returns when you next download a video.
The identical YT version on S9 does not have this issue, so seems to be hardware or API version related.
