HELP I have a S20 plus, I got in September. Started off loving the phone and then it started acting weird. All my reminders from Samsung calendar and Google calendar come in late, some text messages come in late, Google Play store won't download new apps just keeps going around saying pending , when I pull the notifications down from the top and hit one of the like NEST app, it won't open that app until way later, there are a few other issues. Originally I called Samsung they told me to do a few things and then I ended up doing a total factory reset, tried every suggestion online (all battery optimization etc) but I ended up sending it away to Samsung. Got the phone back it worked wonderfully for 2-3 days and now it's started doing it again. Doesn't make any sense to me. Is it some setting I turned on, an app causing issues. Has anyone else had this problem? Do I see send it away again? Why would it have worked so well initially and now not again. Any suggestions?  😡

Maybe Transmitter in my phone? Since it happens both on wifi and data. But why would it have only worked good for a couple days. Some setting? I've tried every battery optimization, data saver etc etc

Had a thought. What kind of network speed do you get?

Use an app like Ookla speed test.

I'm hearing you and sticking with what I said too... restarts stop silly glitches 🤦
So now I'd like to know if it happens just at home (on WiFi) or whilst out and using data? But I can only consider this after a restart of the device and now maybe a wipe of the cache partition and /or factory reset after backing up with smartswitch if they have updated the device since getting it back 🤷

I'm not sure, but he did factory reset his phone. Don't know if he's tried rebooting or not?

Like the reply from the moderator, telling him to get his phone examined by Samsung service, after he's already sent it in to samsung for service lol 😂

Happens on wifi and data. I've done restarts, factory setting and sent away to Samsung. Phone worked great for first couple days after getting back. But slowly started messing up again

Hi Tiff143, Please get the device examined by the authorized Samsung service center to determine the root cause of the issue.

Did you actually read his post?

He has already sent the phone to Samsung for service!

The issue is clearly something else.

He's also factory reset his phone.

It's far more likely to be related to network connectivity, as he eventually gets the notifications etc.

So you both have the exact same phone with the same software?
What OS version are you on?
Have you installed any apps?
I doubt it, but do you use a VPN?
Iknow this may seem redundant but I would backup anything you need and factory reset it again, and then only do basic functions and settings and see if it stays ok for a few days 🤷
I can't think of any setting that would do this. I'd say maybe bad sim card but you say it happens on WiFi too. 🤔
