When you transfer secure folder data from one phone to another or when you back it up, on the old phone, it asks you to create a password.

Then when you open the new phone or want to restore that back up, it'll ask for the password you had created to make sure it's you to restore it.

If you don't remember it... I'm not sure what else there is to do.

Having switched phones so many times... it's happened to me everytime so I know that's what it is lol

Maybe try the pin or password of your secure folder? Could be that when you tried backing up your secure folder and thought it was asking for your pin or password and you entered that.

Hey cprice, do you have 2FA enable? When I setup my new phone and login samsung account. Phone wasn't showing 2FA notification and it didn't allow me to login. Restart fixed my problem.

Yes, after password it should send you notification to approve. Without second approval it will just keep asking you for password.

I don't recall setting that up even if it says it's turned on. Anyway I chose to delete the Secure Folder backup as that message was getting very annoying
